HOBART - Brick layer Richard Kube, it seems, has achieved the impossible in golf-two holes in one during the same round - at the Tasmania Golf Club in Barilla Bay.

According to a report in the local daily - The Mercury - an Internet search has revealed that Kube’s feat is a one in a 67 million-to-1 occurrence, confirming the rarity of the achievement.

“We looked it up on the Internet and it said it was a one in 67,000,000 occurrence, so it’s pretty rare,” the 23-year-old was quoted as saying at the 19th hole.

Richard Skeggs, of the Tasmanian Golf Council, said: “I’ve heard of people having two in one round, but never in Tasmania. It’s very, very rare.”

Kube is no ordinary golfer. He plays off a two handicap, and is a member of the Tasmanian senior team that will contest the Inter-state Series against all other states in Queensland in September. (ANI)
