BOSTON — Olympic snowboarding champ Shaun White has suffered a left ankle injury that will keep him from competing in the Skate Open ISF Skateboarding World Championships this weekend in Boston.
Event spokeswoman Katie Trotsky says White’s representatives report he rolled an ankle while training and won’t be able to participate in the two-day 2010 Dew Tour event. However, he will be in NBC-TV’s broadcast booth for the vert finals Saturday.
