Lawrence Taylor Indicted On Wednesday

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- Lawrence Taylor, the former NFL star who was involved with the New York Giants for a long time in his heydays got indicted on Wednesday for several types of sexual offense related crimes. He was slapped with the charge of having paid sex with an underage woman in a hotel in the suburbs of New York earlier this year. A Rockland County grand jury accused him of crimes like patronizing a prostitute, criminal sexual act, rape, sexual abuse and some others. The jury also charged the veteran former NFL player of endangering the well being of a child. He was taken into police custody in May this year but the ace footballer who is now 51 flatly denied the charges slapped on him. The NFL star was a part of the New York Giants for 12 long years.

His brush with law began after his retirement from NFL. Lawrence Taylor got arrested earlier for drug abuse related crimes thrice. After that he opted for a rehab. However when the cops arrested him two months back they said they had found no trace of drug in his hotel room. He also cooperated with them fully. The player pleaded innocent and his friends said the girl was trying to exploit him. The cops took into custody a man who they said worked as a pimp for the girl.

Lawrence Taylor may have to land up in prison and stay there for 4 years if these charges are proved in the court. His lawyer has said his client is not guilty and that he would fight the case till the end.
