Michael Phelps wins 200 free at US nationals with world’s fastest time

Phelps, Lochte go 1-2 in 200 free at US meet
IRVINE, Calif. — Michael Phelps has won the 200-meter freestyle at the U.S. national championships with the fastest time in the world this year.
Phelps led all the way and touched in 1 minute, 45.61 seconds on Wednesday night. Lochte finished second in 1:47.78, the second-quickest time in the world.
Peter Vanderkaay was third in 1:46.84.
