Beijing Olympics official report released

BEIJING - China has released the official report of the 2008 Beijing Olympic and the Paralympic games, which it said would provide valuable experience and lessons for future hosts.

The official release of the report Sunday, detailing the planning, organisation and celebration of the Beijing Olympic Games, coincided with the second anniversary of the event which began Aug 8 two years ago.

The report consists of four volumes, which includes stories and experiences related to the bidding process, organising the event, games ceremonies and summaries as well as official competition results.
