Michigan QB Robinson injured against Bowling Green
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson has left the Wolverines’ game against Bowling Green after being injured.
Robinson was hit near the sideline at the end of a 47-yard run Saturday for the 21st-ranked Wolverines. He appeared to be having his left knee evaluated on the sideline behind the Wolverines’ bench.
Robinson ran for 129 yards and two touchdowns on five carries and was 4 for 4 for 60 yards on two drives plus one play.
He was replaced by Devin Gardner on Michigan’s third possession against Bowling Green and the freshman threw a touchdown pass to put Michigan up 21-0.
Robinson threw for 671 yards and four TDs and ran for 559 yards and four TDs in the first three games against Connecticut, Notre Dame and Massachusetts.
