Chidambaram to hold high level meet on CWG security

NEW DELHI - Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram will meet the top brass of security agencies on Commonwealth Games security here today.
The meet will also review security in the Games Village and the traffic situation in the capital.
Chidambaram took a round of the control room in the Home Ministry before heading for the meeting.
Earlier, Chidambaram had met senior officials of the 20-odd agencies including Ministry of Home Affairs, Intelligence Bureau, Delhi, Haryana, UP Police, NSG, OC representative, Army and Indian Air Force.
While taking note of the delays, Chidamabaram had set certain timelines for the Organising Committee and other authorities to complete the works.
Chidamabaram also directed that the minutes of the meeting be forwarded to the Organising Committee and others by today afternoon.
The Commonwealth Games 2010 will be held from 3 to 14 October in New Delhi. (ANI)
