MILAN — Inter Milan center back Ivan Cordoba has been diagnosed with a muscle strain in his left leg and will miss Colombia’s exhibitions against Ecuador and the United States.

Cordoba was hurt in the first half of a 0-0 tie with Juventus on Sunday night, and medical tests Monday revealed the extent of the injury.

Colombia plays Ecuador at Harrison, N.J., on Friday night, then meets the United States four days later at Chester, Pa.
