Wayne Rooney follows Coleen to Prague in bid to mend marriage

LONDON - English footballer Wayne Rooney was seen leaving for Prague with his wife Coleen in a bid to mend their marriage and to show her family that he is serious about reconciling with her.

Coleen, 24, was wearing her wedding ring as she flew to the Czech capital on a photoshoot for her new Littlewoods collection, and Rooney, 24, who is out of action with an ankle injury, decided to join her.

“Wayne wants this trip to be like a second honeymoon. Prague is one of Europe’s most romantic cities and Wayne hopes it will help put the spice back into their marriage,” the Daily Star quoted a pal as saying.

“He is desperate to make it up with Coleen, but she is struggling to come to terms with his betrayal. They hope a trip away will be just what they need,” said the pal.

But onlookers at Heathrow said the pair went through the terminal building several minutes apart, with both looking very serious.

“He looked very serious. They didn’t look like honeymooners. It didn’t even look like they were travelling together,” an onlooker said.

Coleen had told friends that her parents are still furious with Rooney, and that she fears they will never forgive him for his threesome with two 1,200 pounds-a-night hookers while she was pregnant with their son Kai last year.

“Coleen doesn’t think he’ll ever be allowed to be a full part of their family again,” a pal revealed to the Sun.

“She has told her family, ‘Accept it, I’m making a go of it with Wayne’. But she knows they don’t want it to happen,” the pal added. (ANI)
