Back injury forces Terry out of England- Montenegro tie

LONDON - A back injury has forced John Terry to remain out of England’s Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro tomorrow.
The Chelsea skipper missed training yesterday with a back injury and was sent home after tests by medical staff.
Engalnd boss Fabio Capello now faces a big challenge to strengthen the team’s defence, as he had already lost Everton ace Phil Jagielka because of a tight hamstring.
Joleon Lescott is likely to team up with Rio Ferdinand at Wembley in what will be the fifth different centre-back pairing in successive games.
“I take elbows in the ribs in a lot of games. But it is one of them where I have a bit of bruising and the masseurs can’t get into it because it is too sore,” The Sun quoted Terry, as saying.
“I had an X-ray and a scan and, thankfully, it came back all clear. But sneezing and coughing is really painful,” he added. (ANI)
