England ready to scrap with Aussies for Ashes: Prior

LONDON - England wicketkeeper-batsman Matt Prior has said that his team is ready to take on the Australians in this winter’s Ashes scrap.
Prior said: “Ricky is a tough competitor. He’s a player and person I respect hugely. That incident (the Oval test where Ponting told him to f..k off) was in the heat of the battle. He was fielding at silly mid-off, I hit the ball and it smacked him in the mouth.”
“It will be the same again this time around. All pleasantries will be saved until the end,” the Sun quoted Prior, as saying.
Australia and England start the Ashes series at Brisbane on November 25. (ANI)
