“India ready to take on New Zealand,” claims Harbhajan

KOLKATA/MUMBAI - Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has said that the Indian cricket team is well prepared to beat New Zealand in the upcoming test series beginning from November 4.
“India is confident after the win over Australia and it has boosted the confidence of the players and they are high on spirit to play tough cricket against New Zealand,” Harbhajan Singh said addressing media persons here on Monday.
Meanwhile, while promoting another brand in Maharashtra’s Mumbai city, Harbhajan on being asked about the role of passion during a game, apologetically recalled the slapping incident between Sreesanth and him.
“There was an incident where I did something wrong, after which the same evening we went out and had dinner together. So, it was a matter for that fraction of time; whatever happened, happened but after that there was nothing like we will never talk, we ate our dinner together,” he added.
Harbhajan reportedly slapped aggressive pacer S Sreesanth on April 26 when Mumbai Indians lost an Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Kings XI Punjab.
The issue was, however, resolved later between Sreesanth and Harbhajan. (ANI)
