“Ashes-just a ‘warm-up’ before 2011 Test series against ‘champs’ India,” jibes Michael Vaughan

LONDON - Former England captain Michael Vaughan has ribbed the Aussies by saying that the Ashes are a “warm-up” before the 2011 Test series against India.
“This winter is looking like being a warm-up for next summer when we will play the number one team India,” he tweeted.
According to Fox News, overcome with excitement at the prospect of England winning a series in Australia, Vaughan added: “Isn’t it great to be able to say the Aussies are a warm-up act?”
Much has been made of the fact the top-performing England players are all South African, and Vaughan suggested that Australia might have to follow the same path to prop their side, claiming their players look very average at the moment following their Test series loss in India.
“The Aussies are desperately trying to find some new players. I just don’t think they have the depth any more. Welcome to the real world. I wonder if the Aussies will ever stretch their academies over to South Africa?” he tweeted. (ANI)
