Harbhajan sings Martin’s praise after knocking off a ton in Ahmedabad Test

AHMEDABAD - Black Caps fast bowler Chris Martin has won high praise for his first test efforts from Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh after the latter knocked off his first Test century in an almost lost cause to take India to a draw.
Not so long ago the champion off spinner was renowned for his fiery temperament and an annoying habit of getting under the skin of the opposition.
But shortly after arguably his greatest achievement on the test stage, 30-year-old Harbhajan singled out Martin for credit where he thought the true credit was due.
“Hats off to this guy, he bowled his heart out. For me, he is the man of the match. To get five wickets on this pitch was something really special. A lot of credit must go to him,” stuff.co.nz quoted Harbhajan, as saying.
He added: “I am really happy I did something in this game because there was nothing for the bowlers in this wicket.” (ANI)
