WAGs from crisis-hit Dundee club pose in sexy undies to raise cash

LONDON - The WAGs of crisis-hit Dundee have posed in sexy underwear to raise cash through a charity calendar for the ailing club.

Jacqui Robertson, a reporter for the club’s official website, and Mhairi Philp, 27, who is Miss Dundee FC, have also joined in.

The Tayside club, which had run up a massive 420,000 pounds tax bill, was deducted a whopping 25 points last week for going into administration for the second time in seven years.

Life-long Dens fan Philp organised the calendar to help ease the financial pressure on the club.

“As Dundee are currently in administration, we were trying to think of as many fundraising ideas as possible. A few people had mentioned the idea of a calendar to raise some extra money,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“I took it upon myself to look into this and contacted Debbie Douglas - wife of Dundee goalie Robert Douglas - to see if she would be interested and if she thought any more of the WAGs would like to get involved.

“All the girls were great and really enjoyed it - although we were all a bit nervous as well,” she added.

Season ticket-holder Philp, who works as a legal receptionist in Edinburgh, hopes to have the 8-pounds calendars on sale within the next two weeks.

“We are looking to sell all 1,000 calendars which would be a fantastic achievement for all involved,” she added. (ANI)
