Asian Games Volleyball: India blank Vietnam 3-0 to reach quarters

GUANGZHOU - India defeated Vietnam 3-0 in their last group match to book a place in the quarter-finals of the men’s volleyball competition at the Asian Games here Tuesday.
India survived a last game fight-back from the Vietnamese side before pulling it off 25-20, 25-16, 25-23.
With two wins in three games, India finished in Group B at the second spot behind defending champions South Korea.
The world no.38 team got the better of higher-ranked Kazakhstan (31) in the first match and lost to South Korea (19) in the second.
