Long Term NFL Agent Gary Wichard Suspended

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — The NFL players Association has given a nine months suspension to one of its agent Gary Wichard on account of his role in a recruiting scandal involving the University of North Carolina.
Wichard had been a long term agent since 1980 and he represents famous clients like Dwight Freeney, Jason Taylor, Antonio Cromartie, Elvis Dumervil, Terrell Suggs and Darren Sproles. His suspension was due to his involvement with a former NFL player Marvin Austin. Austion was a player of Tar Heels and he was thrown out from the team in the months of October.
Suspended agent Wichard denied to comment anything on his suspension. His impermissible communication with with University of North Carolina player Marvin Austin at a time Austin was not eligible for the NFL draft under the NFL/NFLPA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
