LONDON (GaeaTimes.com)- Just hours after American bombshell Elizabeth Hurley announced that she has separated from her husband Indian tycoon Arun Nayar, former Australian cricket ace Shane Warne also confirmed about his separation. Shane Warne also took to Twitter to report about her split with his wife Simone Callahan. Both Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne spoke about their respective separation because a reputed British newspaper published their intimate photos and reported that the couple spent two nights at a hotel.

The media was abuzz with speculations after seeing the published photos as they assumed that Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne are cheating on their respective partners. However, on Sunday the gorgeous model cum actress took to her social networking site to announce that she has parted ways with Arun Nayar. On the other hand, Shane Warne also wrote in the homepage of his social networking site that he and his wife Simone Callahan broke up their marriage “a while ago”. The cricket ace also maintained that only his family members and close friends were informed about the split.

In his statement Shane Warne also said the matter was private and hence they did not involve media in it. However, he also added that he and Simone Callahan would still continue to be good friends and dedicated parents of their children. The gossip portals reported that Shane Warne and Elizabeth Hurley used to openly flirt with each other through a social networking site. Neither the actress nor the cricketer has commented anything about the reason for their separation. However, the pictures that appeared on the tabloids and magazines appear to portray that the couple is romantically involved. Shane Warne has three children from his previous marriage and Elizabeth Hurley has one son Damian.
