Beckham hopes to make sensational comeback to England team

LONDON - Ace midfielder David Beckham has said that insists he still has a chance of making a sensational England comeback.

Beckham is targeting a loan move to a major European club to try to force Three Lions boss Fabio Capello to consider him for selction.

Beckham denied that he is past it, despite not playing for England since October 2009, The Sun reports.

“I still love playing and think I can do it at the top level for a couple more years. I want to be in with a shout of playing for England and to do that I need to stay fit and be playing,” he said.

He hopes that another temporary spell at a Euro giant will help him add to his 115 caps, the record for an England outfield player.

Beckham said: “Another loan is a possibility.” (ANI)
