LONDON - A furious David Haye of Britainhas claimed he is done chasing the Klitschko brothers.
The boxer stunned to discover that WBO and IBF world champion Wladimir had pulled the plug on a unification showdown with him in favour of facing Dereck Chisora.
Haye holds the WBA version of the heavyweight title, and insists he was willing to meet every single one of the 34-year-old’s demands.
He had planned to face Wladimir before taking on the Ukrainian’s older brother Vitali - the WBC champion.
But with Wladimir opting to battle Chisora in Germany on April 30, Haye admits the fight he so desperately craves has effectively slipped through his fingers.
The Sun quoted Haye, 30, as saying: “If the fight doesn’t happen now, it never will.” (ANI)
