Venus Williams’ short top at Australian Open turns heads again

WASHINGTON - Venus Williams has made it to the second round of the 2011 Australian Open, but it was her outfit and not the game that turned the heads again.
Known for pushing the envelope fashion-wise, the tennis star was clad in a very short top at the Grand Slam tournament.
After the match, the 30-year-old athlete told reporters that it was an ‘illusion dress’ and confessed that at the last minute she chose to pair it with black shorts rather go with the commando look of shorts in a nude colour, reports CBS News.
Williams, famous for her odd fashion choices in the games that she plays, wore a skimpy form-fitting outfit decorated with glittering fireworks at the US Open last year.
She appeared on the court in Paris in May in a lacy, red-trimmed, black can-can outfit with a corset-like top and a tutu skirt that gave the illusion of being see-through.
And at the Australian Open last year, she wore an outfit with a flesh-coloured bottom had everyone wondering whether she had gone commando. (ANI)
