Ancelotti admits of being under pressure following Chelsea’s FA Cup exit

LONDON - Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he is feeling the heat after his team crashed out of the FA Cup.
Chelsea was beaten by Everton in a dramatic penalty shootout in their fourth-round clash, destroying the defending champions’ hopes of an historic hat trick of titles in the famous competition.
“This is football. Every time the team doesn’t reach the result, obviously the manager is under pressure. I have fantastic support from the club, from my players. And together we have to move on,” the Sun quoted Ancelotti, as saying.
“Obviously, we are not happy, but we have to look forward, to use these days, the next days, to recover well, to recover energy and to prepare well for the next game in the Champions League. I think that we have the time. It will not be easy, but we have the time,” he added.
Chelsea has also dropped to fifth place in the Premier League after an alarming dip in form, and could now struggle to qualify for the Champions League. (ANI)
