Trap shooter Ronjan Sodhi helps India win third gold at Asian games

GUANGZHOU - Trap shooter Ronjan Sodhi bagged the third gold medal for India in the Guangzhou Asian Games in men’s double trap shooting event on Sunday.

Sodhi also helped his team win a bronze medal in the double trap event.

The Indian trio of Sodhi (139), Asher Noria (134) and Vikran Bhatnagar (130) won the bronze medal with a total score of 403.

China’s team of Pan Qiang (143), Mo Junjie (136) and Hu Binyuan (135) shot a total of 414 to win the gold medal.

Kuwait’s team comprising of M. Fehaid Aldeehani (137), M. Hamad Alafasi (136) and A. Meshfi Almutairi bagged the silver medal with a team score of 407. (ANI)
