After big fall, Duval back in spotlight

SILVIS, Ill. — David Duval says he doesn’t feel like he’s on the comeback trail as he prepares for the John Deere Classic this week in Illinois.

Duval finished in a three-way tie for second at the U.S. Open last month. He says he was just doing what he had expected to do.

The field at the Deere Classic includes U.S. Open champion Lucas Glover, defending champion Kenny Perry, 2007 Masters champion Zach Johnson and Steve Stricker.
