Biffle has no hard feelings toward Tom Logano
CONCORD, N.C. — Greg Biffle says he “probably shouldn’t have” run into fellow NASCAR driver Joey Logano during last week’s Nationwide race, an incident that led to a post-race confrontation between Biffle and Logano’s father.
Biffle and Logano tangled early in the race at Auto Club Speedway, a move Biffle said was payback after Logano bumped him during the Nationwide race at Kansas a week earlier.
Joey Logano went on to win his fifth Nationwide race of the year. Tom Logano was walking to join his son at Victory Lane when he made a gesture at Biffle.
A NASCAR official at the scene pulled Tom Logano’s credential and he was required to meet with Series officials following the race. Biffle said he didn’t think the gesture was a big deal and that the official may have overreacted.
