Ivan Aska scores 20 to lead Murray State to 92-54 win over Missouri-St. Louis

Murray State defeats Missouri-St. Louis 92-54
MURRAY, Ky. — Ivan Aska scored 20 points to lead Murray State to a 92-54 win over Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday night.
Aska was a perfect 9-for-9 from the field for the Racers (1-1). Tony Easley added 10 points and seven rebounds for Murray State.
Beaumont Beasley led the Tritons with 18 points on 7-for-18 shooting and five assists. Cody Kliethermes chipped in with 16 points in the losing effort.
The Racers went on a 12-0 run in the final 3 minutes of the first half, leading 49-24 at halftime.
A layup by Isaiah Canaan capped a separate 15-0 run in the second half to put the Racers up 85-42 with 5:27 remaining in the game. Murray State would go on to lead by as many as 48 points with a 92-44 advantage.
Murray State shot 59.6 percent from the field in the game (34-for-57), while Missouri-St. Louis shot 32.2 percent (19-for-59).
