Theron, Tutu in star-studded cast at WCup draw

CAPE TOWN, South Africa — South African Oscar winner Charlize Theron and Nobel Peace laureates Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Frederik W. de Klerk will be among the star-studded cast attending Friday’s World Cup draw ceremony.

Nelson Mandela, who at 91 is frail and makes few public appearances, will address the celebrities and soccer officials by video message.

FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke will be at the international convention center to lead the draw, which will set up the eight groups of four teams for the June event.
