RANCHI - Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni offered prayers at a temple here on Thursday to mark his five years of international cricket.
Dhoni, taking a break following a two match ban, visited Devri temple, about 65 kilometers away in Tamar block.
“He came here to pray for his good luck in international cricket and on the completion of his five years in international cricket,” said Amit Panda, a priest.
Dhoni, as captain of the Indian team, was handed down a two ODI match ban for the side’s slow over rate during the second match of the five match ODI series against visitors Sri Lanka in Nagpur on December 18. (ANI)
