Walker, Dixon lead UCLA over No. 19 Arizona St.

TEMPE, Ariz. — Markel Walker scored 24 points and Jasmine Dixon added 21 to help UCLA beat No. 19 Arizona State 74-56 Sunday.

Arizona State (8-5, 0-2) has lost four of its last five games. UCLA (9-4, 2-0 Pac-10) has held every opponent to 61 or fewer points this season.

Dixon and Walker, who both set career highs for points, made a combined 19 of 24 field goal attempts and the Bruins shredded ASU’s man defense for close-in shots.

Becca Tobin had 13 points and Danielle Orsillo had 12 for the Sun Devils, who made only four field goals in the first half.
