Devils-Lightning resume suspended game on Sunday
NEWARK, N.J. — The Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils have resumed play in their game that was suspended because of a lighting problem at the Prudential Center on Friday night.
There was 9:12 left in the second period when play was halted on Friday night because the lights dimmed in the Devils defensive zone with the Lightning leading 3-0.
Play resumed on Sunday with a faceoff in front of the Lightning bench.
The Devils made one change, putting Yann Danis in goal instead of Martin Brodeur.
