MELBOURNE - British tennis star Andy Murray has described his run at this year’s Australian Open as ‘amazing’.

The fifth seed, aiming to become the first Brit since Fred Perry in 1936 to win a Grand Slam, faces Croatian giant Marin Cilic today.

“Obviously, I want to win the tournament. Potentially, I am six sets away from doing that. I think it’s pretty amazing, actually, that I got to the semis without conceding a set. It doesn’t happen that often. I’d love to get to the final without dropping one but it has been a great start,” The Sun quoted Murray, as saying.

Murray had beaten Cilic in all three of their previous meetings - including a clash at the French Open - until the 6ft 6in Croatian won in straight sets at the US Open. (ANI)
