ANAHEIM, Calif. — Saku Koivu scored the go-ahead goal with 5:36 left in the third period, Todd Marchant had a short-handed goal and Bobby Ryan notched his 30th and 31st goals, leading the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night.

The Central Division-leading Blackhawks began a three-game road trip without three-time All-Star defenseman Brian Campbell, who is out with a fractured collar bone and broken rib after he was checked into the boards from behind by NHL scoring leader and two-time MVP Alex Ovechkin.

Campbell’s consecutive-game streak ended at 388, the second-longest among current defensemen. He is expected to be sidelined about seven to eight weeks

Brent Seabrook and Marian Hossa scored for Chicago, and Corey Crawford made 32 saves after getting called up from Rockford of the AHL on an emergency basis because Cristobal Huet had the flu and Antti Niemi was being held back for Thursday night’s game at Los Angeles.

The Blackhawks’ third straight loss prevented them from tying idle San Jose for the Western Conference lead.

Jonas Hiller made 38 saves for the Ducks, who won the season series 3-1 and are 16-4-2 in their last 22 meetings with Chicago.

Koivu’s 13th goal came with some controversy. The play started when Lubomir Visnovsky’s shot from just inside the blue line was deflected and the puck fluttered high in the air. Chicago defenseman Brent Sopel was cross-checked to the ice by Corey Perry as they waited for it to come down, and Perry got the puck to Koivu, who beat Crawford with a 20-foot wrist shot.

The Blackhawks had to wait through a video replay before Hossa’s tying goal was upheld with 14:48 left in the third. Duncan Keith’s wrist shot from the left point struck Hossa and fluttered toward the net, where it appeared at first that Dave Bolland had tipped it past Hiller with a high stick.

Hossa’s goal was his 21st this season and 12th in 19 career games against Anaheim. He had missed Sunday’s game because of an undisclosed upper body injury.

The Ducks grabbed a 2-1 lead at 6:27 of the second period with Marchant’s third short-handed goal of the season and 28th of his career, while teammate Seldon Brookbank was off for slashing Patrick Kane.

Ryan opened the scoring at 4:08 of the first period, joining Teemu Selanne and Paul Kariya as the only players in franchise history with 30 or more goals in consecutive seasons. Chicago tied it at 11:16 with Seabrook’s fourth goal of the season, a 40-foot slap shot that broke off Hiller’s blocker pad.

Hiller had to be on his toes about 6 minutes into the game, when Jonathan Toews came bearing down on him on a breakaway. But the Blackhawks’ captain shot it wide of the left post. Crawford returned the favor, stopping rookie Dan Sexton on a breakaway at 7:04 of the second period.

NOTES: The Blackhawks outshot their opponent for the 59th time in 69 games this season. … Two seasons ago, Crawford beat the Ducks 3-0 at Chicago for his first NHL shutout. It came in his second career start — and his first in more than two years. … The last time Crawford played in a game that mattered was back on May 24, when he replaced Niemi in the second period of the Blackhawks’ 6-1 loss in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals.
