Sania Mirza Wedding Takes Place

HYDERABAD, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Ace tennis player Sania Mirza has finally tied the knot with Shoaib Malik after all the controversies and anxiety. They exchanged marriage vows on Monday and it was deliberately kept a low key affair. Rucha Nayak, the spokesperson of Sania Mirza confirmed the news and said that both the players signed a matrimonial agreement as pert the Islamic rules. The wedding took place in Hyderabad. Ever since Sania Mirza said that she will marry Shoaib Malik, a group of religious extremists raised huge uproar over nationality issues. However, the wedding did not stay under the wraps for long. The tennis star reportedly wore a red saree and she looked every bit the traditional Indian bride.
A few days back Shoaib Malik, who is now the husband of Sania Mirza, was accused of marrying and dumping another girl earlier when she filed a criminal complaint against him. It resulted in the police confiscating his passport. The newly wedded couple addressed a press conference earlier and tried to clear the controversy. The cricket player got the support of his ex teammates as well. He also lashed out at the other girl Ayesha Siddiqui of cheating him. Sania Mirza continued to stand by Shoaib Malik all through this brouhaha and her patience has paid off. The wedding pictures are available in the web as well.
Sania Mirza is going great guns in her career too and she has no plan to quit playing post her wedding. The families of both the players are relieved now. If everything goes well she is likely to fly to Pakistan for the reception ceremony.
