FLORHAM PARK (GaeaTimes.com)- Kyle Wilson the cornerback player of the Boise State who was placed by many draft boards in the list of top ten or fifteen best players in this season’s NFL draft pick landed with the New York Jets. The team did not miss the opportunity to get the player to the New York Jets as during the Thursday night first round draft pick Kyle Wilson’s position slipped from its former position. The New York Jets eyed the 29th overall pick as the 27th and the 28th selection went to New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins. The general manager of the New York Jets told the media after the selection that the board and the team aligned together for the first time.
Kyle Wilson will be joining a team which is known for its strong cornerback players. The team is already loaded with cornerback Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie. However the former Boise State player will no doubt work towards making the team stronger as he is considered as one of the most aggressive football player with leadership qualities.
In the Boise State team he had to his credit not only 11 interceptions and three punts but also that of leading his team to win the Fiesta Bowl over TCU. Last year Kyle Wilson had four interceptions which is no doubt a remarkable score. Kyle Wilson seemed elated with the selection and said that he feels at home with the team. He is considered as one of the best punt runner and this will surely add to his new team’s credit.
