FOXBORO (GaeaTimes.com)- On Friday, Apr 24, the New England Patriots finally drafted for the Ohio wide receiver Taylor Price. He was the No. 90 overall Draft Pick of the third round of the NFL Draft 2010. Though some critics have questioned the choices made by the team this year at the NFL Draft, there is no doubt that the team coach has a special game scheme arranged in his mind. Though the team has veteran wide receiver Randy Moss, the inclusion of Taylor Price hints that the team wants to strengthen the position.
Many people thought that Taylor Price would receive some early round pick due to his height 6 foot and weight combination (204 pounds) and his speed record. However, he was drafted at the No.90 position in the third round which ended up making a good deal for the New England Patriots team. Taylor Price has an impressive career record. He has posted a speed of 4.33 seconds for a 40 yards dash which is considered to be a good timing. Apart from these he has also in his four years football career made 149 receptions. He has a total of 2,019 in receiving yards and 14 touchdowns which is considered as the second best. He had played as a cornerback in high school and had latter moved on to the wide receiver end.
Taylor Price on Friday said that his inclusion in the team which contains veterans like Randy Moss, Torry Holt and Wes Welker will surely be a great experience. The player maintained that he will get the opportunity to learn from players who are considered veteran in the field.
