Graham to drive for dad at Indy 500
Graham Rahal has nabbed a ride at the Indianapolis 500 — for his father.
The 21-year-old Rahal will hit the bricks with his father, Bobby, who won at Indy as a driver in 1986 and as an owner in 2004.
Graham Rahal will drive the No. 30 Dallara/Honda for Rahal Letterman Racing with a yet-to-be-determined sponsor at the May 30 race.
Rahal drove in three of the first four IndyCar Series races for Sarah Fisher Racing, but does not have a full-time ride for the season. He became the youngest winner in IndyCar history when he took the checkers at St. Petersburg in 2008 at 19.
Rahal has failed to finish in two previous Indy 500 starts.
