Gazza looks like ‘Elephant Man’ after car smash

LONDON - Former England football star Paul Gascoigne a.k.a. Gazza has been left looking “like the Elephant Man” following his car smash.
Gazza, 43, has massive swelling to his face, two black eyes and serious cuts and bruises, The Sun reports.
The ex-England ace was not wearing a seatbelt when the Vauxhall Astra he was travelling in smashed into a wall.
A source said: “Gazza’s face has swelled up all over. He looks like the Elephant Man. The fact he didn’t have a seatbelt on means he must have been really flung about. He’s up and out of his bed though, so he’s obviously on the mend now.”
Gazza, who suffered a punctured lung, is continuing his recovery t Newcastle General Hospital. (ANI)
