LAS VEGAS (GaeaTimes.com)- Court McGee won the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 2010 finale at the Pearl inside the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 19. The “Ultimate Fighting Championship” 2010 Season 11 reality show crowned him as the winner with a six figure multi fight UFC contract after he defeated Kris McCray.
In the main event of the “Ultimate Fighting Championship” Court McGee was putting Kris McCray on his back until late in the second round he managed to tap out to secure a rear naked choke. Court McGee also scored a Submission of The Night Bonus for this Championship. The player was eliminated from the quarter final series but UFC President Dana White included him as a replacement of an injured player Rich Attonito. The game plan of Court McGee, the mixed martial artist was to hit Kris McCray and move and him trying to take Court McGee down.
Court McGee, the recovering drug addict with this Championship title now can continue playing his favorite sports and pursue his career to raise his family and children. For Court McGee it was a tough journey to get eliminated at first and be brought back again through wild cards and he ended up fighting five times in six weeks. Court McGee who has improved his martial arts record to 9-1 was emotional and all in tears after he won the “Ultimate Fighting Championship” Season 11 and dedicated his this to all the people who are struggling in their life and to his coach Chuck Liddell. He said in an interview that he has earned a “spot” in his life through this championship.
