WINBLEDON, ENGLAND (GaeaTimes.com)- Although American tennis player James Blake is known to be one such player who accepts both his defeat and win gracefully, on Tuesday the audience at the Court 5 of Wimbledon got to see another side of James Blake who lost his cool and cursed ESPN analyst Pam Shriver in front of everybody. Pam Shriver was lashed at verbally by James Blake when the latter heard her criticizing his play on the court. The Wimbledon where a pin-drop silence is maintained during the play, the altercation between James Blake and Pam Shriver turned out to be an embarrassing one for the ESPN analyst who had herself remained a well-known tennis player during the 1980s and 1990s.

The incident happened during the game between James Blake and Dutchman Robin Haase who had come up with flying colors in the first round game. In the mid-match while Pam Shiver was critically analyzing the play of James Blake the latter yelled out at Pam Shriver saying “Amazing you used to play tennis. I can still hear you”. On her part, Pam Shriver did not lower her voice and instead went on to say that the player had yelled at her adding that he has got “rabbit ears” to have been able to listen to her comments. James Blake once again yelled out after the next point calling Pam Shriver an “ass” to have not followed his remark and acting “like I’m [James Blake] at fault” and once again the sports analyst retorted back.

However after the game Pam Shriver reportedly said to media sources that she regrets her engaging in an altercation with the player. She added that she should have lowered her voice once the player had complained that she was audible.
