Brazil, Portugal 0-0 after 60 minutes
DURBAN, South Africa — A defensive Portugal is holding Brazil 0-0 after 60 minutes in their final Group G match at the World Cup on Friday.
Mexican referee Benito Archundia has shown seven yellow cards — four to Portugal — in the physical game at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Brazil dominated possession and had the most chances, with a shot from Nilmar blocked by goalkeeper Eduardo against the post in the 30th minute. Luis Fabiano threatened again nine minutes later, but headed just wide.
Brazil has already reached the knockout stage, while Portugal has a comfortable goal differential to reach the round of 16 even with a loss.
