LONDON - Former Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole is to be offered a nine million pound deal to join Spanish football giants AC Milan.
Cole is a free agent after being released by Chelsea, and is also a target for several Premier League teams, including Arsenal and Tottenham.
According to reports, England coach Fabio Capello recommended Cole as a good buy to his close pal and AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani.
The three-year nine million pound deal, worth 60,000 pounds a week, is actually 20,000 pounds a week less than what he was being paid at Chelsea, The Sun reports.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan, now led by former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez, is also said to be interested in Cole. (ANI)
