Serena Williams gets fourth Wimbledon title

LONDON - Holder Serena Williams of the United States won a fourth career women’s Wimbledon title Saturday 6-3, 6-2 against Russian Vera Zvonareva.

World number one Williams prevailed over the 21st-ranked Zvonareva in one hour and five minutes for her 13th career Grand Slam title. Her previous Wimbledon titles were 2002, 2003 and 2009.

Zvonareva was playing in her first final at the majors.
