UFC 116 Results Unveiled

Las Vegas (GaeaTimes.com)- The UFC 116 results are announced yesterday where the audience watched the most anticipated matches of the year. There were thousands of crowd gathered at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The main event started from 10 p.m. and it went on fights after fights. The Ultimate Fighting Championship marked many comebacks, easy wins or unexpected wins an shameful loss of the fighting giants. They all played to win their respective titles for championship.
In UFC 116 much anticipated match of the night was between Brock Lenser and Shane Carwin where as a result former defeated the latter via submission in an arm triangle choke at 3:52 of round 2. The fight between George Sotiropoulos and Kurt Pellegrino saw the former defeating the latter in an unanimous decision (30-27,30-27,29-28). George Sotiropoulos could manage to win in the three rounds and hence was awarded the title for the Lightweight Bout. Chris Leben and Yoshihiro Akiyama’s fight saw the former managing to get the title for himself by defeating the latter via submission of the triangle choke at 4:40 of round 3.
UFC 116 results were in favor of one fighter who returned to the court after a year, yet could manage to secure his title. Brock Lesner came out to be this year’s Heavyweight Champion and he too deserved his crown by defeating Shane Carwin via submission at 3:52 of round 2. Chris Lytle defeated Matt Brown by an armlock at the surprising time of 2:02. The UFC 116 fights were worth watching and the crowd loved their favorite fighters vying for their titles.
