SINGAPORE (GaeaTimes.com)- The attention of the Football lovers is fixed on the 2010 Fifa World Cup Final match that will take place tonight and the excitement of the supporters of the Holland and Spain are increasing with time. However, it would be wrong to assume that the football fever has affected only the humans! The animal world is also showing much interest in the world cup though in a different way. The animal oracles that are predicting the outcome of Fifa matches have become regional celebrities within a few days. Leading the list is Paul the psychic octopus who rose to fame after predicting the outcome of each match played by Germany in the ongoing Fifa 2010 world cup. After Germany’s exit the angry German fans have even threatened to kill and eat the octopus!
Anyhow, the Octopus is facing challenge from Mani the Parakeet a bird from Singapore who has become another prominent animal oracle for the ongoing 2010 Fifa world cup. He has predicted that Holland will win this world cup. However, it is just the opposite of the prediction made by Paul the psychic octopus who indicated that Spain will get the honor at the end. The supporters of both the teams are betting heavily on the predictions made by the oracle duo.
The 2010 Fifa World Cup Final that will take place tonight will prove which animal oracle is more accurate. The Parakeet’s owner is sure that the 13 year old bird’s prediction will turn out to be the right one. He thinks that the bird is gifted and possesses special powers.
