Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com)- Dorell Wright of Miami Heat is expected to join Golden State Warriors from next season. A reputed sports web portal reported that the small forward player had his discussion with Golden State Warriors general manager Larry Riley yesterday about his shift from Miami Heat. Dorell Wright spent his first six seasons in Miami Heat has finally agreed to a three years deal with the Golden State Warriors for $11 million and the player is excited, as playing for the team would be his home coming to California.

Dorell Wright was not available for any comments, but sources close to Golden State Warriors said that the general manager of the team has promised that he would get Dorell Wright in his team for the coming season. This clearly indicates that Golden State Warriors will not ask their sharp shooting agent Anthony Morrow to retain his services in the team. Larry Riley in a press conference said that the team was looking at several 3-men and they felt like they were close to a deal and later a Golden State Warriors’ close source confirmed that the team was counting on Dorell Wright.

Dorell Wright, 24, is 6 feet 9 inches tall and Golden State Warriors expect him to play well in this season owing to his adequate size and skill. Dorell Wright played his best season in 2008-2009 for Miami Heat when he had reached his average of 7.9 points and 5 rebounds in less than 30 minutes. Golden State Warriors have also signed Reggie Williams as small forward, Monta Ellis and Charlie Bell as shooting guard. The team however expects that the players will fill in the gap left by Anthony Morrow.
