LONDON - Red Bull’s Mark Webber on Sunday put himself right back in this season’s Formula One title challenge by comfortably winning the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

It was Webber’s third win of the season.

McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton seized second after a poor start by Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso, while Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg was third.

Reigning champion Jenson Button was fourth, having battled his way up from 14th on the grid.

Williams’ Rubens Barrichello came in fifth ahead of Sauber’s Kamui Kobayashi, who finished sixth.

It was a day of mixed fortunes for Red Bull, as Sebastian Vettel, who won the British Grand Prix last year, recovered to finish seventh after also picking up a puncture on the opening lap and being forced to the back of the field.orce India’s Adrian Sutil, Mercedes’ Michael Schumacher and Williams’ Nico Hulkenberg rounded out the top 10.
Leading World Championship Standings:

1. Lewis Hamilton 145 points, 2. Jenson Button 133, 3. Mark Webber 128, 4. Sebastian Vettel 121, 5. Fernando Alonso 98. (ANI)
