Bridgestone Invitational TV Schedule

New York (GaeaTimes.com) - WGC-Bridgestone Invitational is one of the World Golf Championships for male professional golfers. The 2010 edition of this tournament is its 65th year running in Firestone Golf Club. In 1962, it first came in the rubber city and in 1976 it was declared as the official venue. Since then it has been the place for this championship. Although in 2002, the championship was held in Sahalee Country Club, Washington. This year’s championship is set to go on from today till 9th August. As all the star players like Tiger Woods, Lee Westwood, Phil Mickelson are set to go for the number one spot but we will have to wait till the last day if there will be someone stood up and play the spoiler role.

It is a comeback tournament for Anthony Kim as he is returning from injury. Kim, 25 have admitted that everyone may have become better as he was away from the course for three months. Kim had severe injury in his thumb. The all time great Tiger Woods is all set to win another WGC-PGA tour. He is seven time winner of this tournament. Though it seems that this PGA tour will be off news in spite of Tiger’s roar as Brett Favre, an American football player is all set to retire in this week.
