Giants WR Steve Smith injures groin at camp
ALBANY, N.Y. — New York Giants’ record-setting receiver Steve Smith has a groin injury.
Smith says he injured his groin making a routine move early in Friday afternoon’s practice at the University at Albany.
After being examined by trainers, Smith watched the rest of practice.
Smith, who caught a team-record 107 passes last season, will have an MRI exam on Friday night. He doesn’t think the injury is serious.
