Man U can win Premier League crown back from Chelsea: Ferguson

LONDON - After lifting the Community Shield, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has given out a Premier League title warning to Chelsea.
He believes his Wembley triumph shows his squad can win the Premier League crown back from Chelsea.
“I’m happy with this squad. If I keep everyone ship shape and fit, then we’ll have a really good chance,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.
Antonio Valencia, Javier Hernandez and Dimitar Berbatov scored in United’s win.
Ferguson said: “My players are hungry, I think you’ve seen that today. Some of our football was very good at times, we created chances and we deserved to win.
“The foundation of the team is the experienced players like Vidic, Scholes and Giggs and they can help the rest. When you don’t win the title, you must do it the next year. That’s the great thing about football, you’ve always got the next year.”
Ferguson was also encouraged by the performance of Wayne Rooney.
“All good players get booed by opposition fans these days. But it was a fantastic pass for the goal. Wayne needed some match fitness and we have to be really happy with what was a decent display,” Ferguson said. (ANI)
