Big hitter Murray’s time on Grand Slam stage is coming: Masur

MELBOURNE - Former Australian tennis player and now tennis expert Wally Masur believes that British tennis star Andy Murray’s time will come sooner than later, as he is one the sports rare big hitters.
“Murray’s time is coming. He’s finally starting to believe he can beat guys like Federer on the grand slam stage, and that makes the Scotsman dangerous,” Fox Sports quoted Masur, as saying.
“The US Open is the fastest tournament of the year, and Rafa (Rafael Nadal) cannot win the tournament in a clay-court position. The surface is just too fast,” Masur said, adding that he was confident Murray would prove extremely hard to beat at Flushing Meadows.
“There are plenty of people out there who feel Federer’s reign is coming to an end, but Roger is a stubborn man, and I wouldn’t be turning my back on a 16-time major winner so easily,” Masur said. (ANI)
